Am I in the wrong?
Tess asked:
I’m single have lived alone for 18 yrs. I’m unemployed doing SOME housecleaning making VERY little money to get by. I have NO family to loan me money NO assets to sell for cash a ‘94 Civic that’s NOW needing various repairs. Rents due I DON’T have it have NO place to go. I asked a girlfriend I’ve known for 30 yrs to move in SPLIT the rent, etc., for a couple of months to avoid eviction. My girlfriend agreed since she too has money issues BUT, she HAS family whom have given her thousands, a 2004 PT Cruiser, 2005 fully loaded Ford Focus, a Harley Davidson, lots of nice jewelry, an earth contact home she’s waiting to move into as soon as her ex-husband moves in 2 months, IRA’s retirement savings a marine gentlemen whom she practically lives with PLUS she makes approx. $700 or more doing internet real estate AND she has a 17 yr son.
My girlfriend I agreed ONLY she would move in while her son lives with a classmate until he graduates H.S. next May.
Without 1st discussing with me, she’s moving her son in too BUT tells me she is paying $250 of the $500 rent HASN’T found the time to arrange the cost of her paying half (1/2) of ALL the utilities PLUS cable/internet. ALL my furniture including my washer/dryer will be used EXCEPT for her son’s bed.
I have MY ex boyfriends laptop plan to sell his laptop to help pay a portion of my rent due. I have counted on selling it since I have NO other assets. etc., to get some cash I DESPERATELY need. My girlfriend WANTS the laptop for her son says she will give me $75 BUT I can get $150. I’ve told her this, it pissed her off so she contacted MY ex boyfriend (BEHIND MY BACK), Now MY ex boyfriend says he’ll just let her son use the laptop.
I’m EXTREMELY pissed since she has been FULLY aware of my plans to sell the laptop for DESPERATELY needed cash unlike her, I DON’T have big assets NOR family NOR a marine boyfriend—I HAVE NOTHING.
*** I have the laptop in MY possession and MY ex boyfriend does NOT has NOT cared I have his lap top. I’ve budgeted $150 decided NOT to sell her the laptop since she wants to pay me ONLY $75 for it even BEFORE she went behind my back to MY ex boyfriend I DON’T care if this pisses her off. Am I in the wrong? How would you feel?

To get a loan or not to get a loan?
some1insc asked:
I want to buy a motorcycle with our taxes were getting 10,500 back and we have about 9,600 of debt over 4 credit cards my wife has a credit score between 699 and 723 my question is should we pay the credit cards off? And will this help the score even more or should we pay for the motorcycle in cash? Thank you

Will it hurt my credit to close rovolving accounts after the balance is paid off?
chickpea asked:
Or should I just leave them open (there is no annual fee)? The deal is that my husband bought a motorcycle by opening up a Suzuki credit card, we got the interest down to 6% from 17.9 (thank you soldier’s and sailor’s relief Act) and he has recently sold the bike. He bought a couple of other things like that too, but those were paid off last year. He doesn’t need all these revolving accounts on his credit, so would it hurt it more for him to leave them on there and have no activity or just close them?
It’s only 6% for the things he already charged, if he uses it again, it will go back to 17.9%, the limit on this account is 5800, but I don’t want him trying to buy another bike!

Wondering if my credit score is good enough for a motorcycle loan?

After just checking my credit score according to equifax it is
After just checking my credit score according to equifax it is
680
I was wondering if that score was high enough to get a semi decent loan on a motorcycle. Oh and I’m 19
Well I took out around 14000 for school loans. Erm my mom did and I co signed it but I’ve been paying it back and I have nearly 4k paid back. I’ve been at my job for over three years now(but i took 7 months off for school) Also I’ve had no lines of credit. So my only debt is my school loans.
Thank you everyone for your help. My truck is great and will last me several more years. Only 60k miles on it and its a 2000, I got it from some old lady who never drove.
Also my student loans only around 200 a month but I’ve been putting in atleast 500 and I make around 2300 a month.
Are lenders more likely to give me a loan if say I put 3k down?
